The RV50 is an industrial 4G LTE cellular gateway that provides serial and Ethernetconnectivity to numerous cellular networks. (The RV50 automatically falls backto 3G or 2G when 4G coverage is not available.) The RV50 is capable of LTE,CDMA/EV-DO, and GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA networking and is carrier-approvedworldwide for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile USA, Rogers, Bell, Telus, and othercellular data carriers. The networking and carrier used by the RV50 aredetermined by the active SIM card(s) inserted into the device.
TheAirLink RV50 is the industry’s lowest power and most rugged LTE gateway. Simpleto install and easy to manage, this industrial-grade gateway is designed toconnect critical assets and infrastructure. Ideal for energy, utilities andsmartcity applications, the RV50 provides real-time remote connectivity forSCADA, distribution management systems and metering.
The RV50 is designed to withstand harshindustrial conditions, and is capable of surviving 5 V brownouts and spikesfrom -600 VDC to 200 VDC.
Certified as Class I Div 2, it is ideal forhazardous environments. The die cast aluminum housing is sealed to meet IP64for resistance to dust and water ingress. The RV50 is tested to meet and exceedthe MIL-STD-810G specification for shock, vibration, temperature and humidity.The built-in power supply protection make it suitable for harsh electricalenvironments such as compressors, generators, and excavators.
