  • Condition: In good vintage condition. The edges are frayed, wrinkled, have small splits and some posters have old tape or nail holes where the posters were originally hung as seen on the backs in the photos. This poster has creases & wrinkles throughout the body of the poster with visible creases around the top part of the poster. The back of the poster has discoloration that looks like water or moisture previously on the poster.

    This is a vintage original hand painted gouache Vietnamese War era propaganda poster and not a reproduction or print.  These is a hand painted poster on a type of light craft or rice paper.  This vintage poster is ready to be framed and displayed. This is a fabulous poster with president Nixon's name spelled wrong!
    This poster title translates to
    "With Their Raid on the North, America and Nixon will be Shamefully Defeated"
    Poster measures 27" L x 20-1/4" W.
    The condition of this poster is good.  There are creases and wrinkles throughout the main body of the artwork .  In some areas these creased areas
    have caused the gouache paint to chip or peel away which can be seen in the black paint on the Nixon figure. There are various tears and rips along the edges as shown in the photos.
    The black paint from the Nixon figure has seeped through paper to make light imprint on back of poster.  Back of poster has water or moisture marks around the edges from its time in use.
    The edges and have small wrinkles, creases and some small tears as is normal with age and prior use of the poster.
    This poster does not lay flat on its own as it has been rolled up in a tube for many years.
    Like any propaganda, these posters were designed to be used during the Vietnam War to influence the masses participation, attitude and behavior in the war effort.

    We are listing several posters that have been rolled up and stored away in our Manhattan studio for many years.  They have only just recently been uncovered after our move from New York to Hollywood Beach, Florida and we are now offering these for sale at our Harley's Time eBay Store.
