This is a vintage original hand painted gouache Vietnamese War era propaganda poster and not a reproduction or print.  These is a hand painted poster on a type of light craft or rice paper.  This vintage poster is ready to be framed and displayed.
This poster title translates to
"Heading To Liberate Buon Me Thuot"
Poster measures 26-1/2" L x 21-1/4" W.
The condition of this poster is good.  There are various creases and wrinkles throughout the main body of the artwork especially near the left side of the mans face and across the bottom of the poster around the words Giai Phong Buon Me Thuot .  These creased areas
have caused the gouache paint to chip or peel away as seen in the photos.
There is a small tear on the right side edge next to the mans elbow that has been mended with tape on the back.  Tape & discoloration/residue from tape are shown on the back.
The edges and have small wrinkles, creases and some small tears as is normal with age and prior use of the poster.
The texture and edges of this posters paper are brittle from age.
There are scratches in the paint around the mans hair and face as seen in the photos.
There is tape affixed to the one of the back corners and there are tiny nail holes in the upper corners where the
poster was once attached to a wall or other surface.
This poster does not lay flat on its own as it has been rolled up in a tube for many years.
Like any propaganda, these posters were designed to be used during the Vietnam War to influence the masses participation, attitude and behavior in the war effort.
