James Scott (Deceased) who served in WWII during the landing at Normandy, saw combat in Korea, two tours in Vietnam fought in the Battle of Ia Drang Valley, recipient of the Bronze Star and 3 Purple Hearts. He was in the first battle between the US and the North Vietnamese that is portrayed in the book, "We Were Soldiers and Young" and the movie that stars Mel Gibson as Hal Moore.
