    Description

    This auction is for a premium quality very scarce antique Microtome Razor Knife used for slicing micro-thin sections of items for microscope viewing. This special laboratory instrument comes with its slide-on handle and in the original box, marked: SPENCER - BUFFALO - U.S.A. - and marked on the knife: SPENCER - BUFFALO - U.S.A. - J662 - This razor knife is very sharp and will shave the hair off of my arm, it has a few very minor light blemishes from age, is made of ultra fine grade surgical high carbon stainless steel and overall is still in excellent condition. The box has storage wear but still in very good condition. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. This wedge shaped razor knife blade measures 4 3/4" by 1 1/4", 3/8" thick at the rounded top and the total weight in the box is 12.2 oz.
