2009 Manuel Rodriguez
Especial "La Divina" Concert Classical Guitar.
This is a high level concert classical guitar. It was hand-built in the Manuel Rodriguez workshop in Madrid, Spain.
This hand crafted guitar was built using solid CSA Rosewood for the back and sides, a multi piece Cedar neck and a Cedar top. The guitar has a beautiful Rodriguez signature rosette with matching binding.
This model features the unique Rodriguez asymmetrical bracing pattern for the top, giving it a sparkling treble tone with plenty of warmth in the bass as well.
There were a couple of surface hairline cracks in the top of this guitar below the bridge that have been professionally repaired. The guitar is strong and stable while retaining its resonance. There is also a bit of haze in the finish on the sides.
Scale length on this guitar is 650 millimeters. Nut width is 50 millimeters. The ebony fretboard and frets are in excellent condition. They have just been polished. Action on the 12th fret low E string is 3.6 millimeters and the 12th fret high E string measures 3.0 millimeters.
This guitar is equipped with the original ornate gold lyre tuning keys. They are smooth and hold tune well.
The label designates this as an Especial model known as "La Divina."
The guitar will be carefully packed and shipped in a good condition hard shell case.
