    2000 Jose Ramirez R4
    Classical Guitar.
    This is an all-solid wood hand-built classical guitar. It was made in the Jose Ramirez workshop at Calle de la Paz No 8, Madrid.
    This Ramirez guitar is part of the Amalia Ramirez shift to making only fine solid wood guitars with the Spanish tone of the instruments built under her Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, with the increased power of her father's guitars. This guitar has a medium depth body and as such has good sustain on the bass notes with rich trebles as well. This guitar was created to have versatility and ease of play that modern guitarists expect, with plenty of vintage Spanish tone that you would expect from an early Ramirez.
    The overall condition of the guitar is very good. There were two cracks in the top, next to the fretboard, which were professionally repaired. The finish of the guitar was carefully polished to minimize blemishes. There is a small circular spot of subtle color difference in the top, which is shown in the pictures.
    This hand-crafted guitar was built using solid Indian rosewood for the back and sides, a reinforced Cedar neck and a solid Cedar top. The outer binding and headstock cap are made using fine quality rosewood. The guitar has an intricate rosette used on the R4, with a 1A style trim on the top of the bridge.
    Scale length on this guitar is 650 millimeters. This scale length creates clarity of tone with easy reach. The nut width measures 52 millimeters.
    The ebony fretboard is in very good condition. The guitar has just been refretted. Action on the 12th fret low E string is 4.4 millimeters and the 12th fret high E string measures 3.5 millimeters.
    The good condition original label is handwritten with the model R4. This instrument has the original black and gold Fustero tuners in good condition.
    The guitar will be carefully packed and shipped in a good condition case, inside a sturdy box.
