    Description

Up for sale is a very hard-to-find Granada school classical guitar 100% hand made by the well known Spanish luthier Antonio Marin Montero in 1960s (the exact year is still unknown). This guitar has an amazing history. It had traveled around the world as a concert instrument. It made a stop in Argentina and had some repair work done by Jose Marin Plazuelo (one of Anotonio Marin's nephews I guess) to work on the bridge and re-finished. Finally this guitar came to Michigan, USA. This is the oldest Marin guitar I've ever played and seen. I guess back in 1960s, Marin made most of his guitars by himself and hand tools, with all traditional Spanish materials, design of Torres and 7-fans bracing pattern.
This guitar has all the Marin's sound feature: light-weighted, loud, sustaining, profound and clear. It weighs less than 2 lbs but sounds big and deep. The tone is just like an old wine.
    Full disclosure:
There is no structural defect or issues such as crack or binding separation. The bridge looks like a replacement bridge. Inside the saddle slot, there is a small piece of wood inserted in front of the bone saddle, a slot modification done by Plazuelo . All other components are original. The surface was re-finished by French Shalac, looks like a very nice job.
